I am a solicitor with over 25 years of experience dealing with contingent labour, EOR and AOR. Having qualified as a Solicitor in England with international law firm DWF LLP, I provide a full range of legal support to the business from commercial contracts, dispute resolution, employment law, tax and employment status and other commercial matters across the region. I have previously held a place on the UK HMRC’s IR35 Forum as a technical expert discussing policy and enforcement of tax status legislation in the UK (known as IR35) with central government departments. I am the technical compliance lead for the UK, Ireland and Nordics, dealing with regulatory matters (including anti-money laundering compliance and data protection) and liaising with regulators including the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. I also hold a Certificate in Information Security Management and Principles from the BCS, Chartered Institute for IT which enables me to fully support the business’ drive for excellence in information governance and management through the ISO27001 accreditations.
