El 15 de noviembre de 2024, el Tribunal de Distrito de EE.UU. para el Distrito Este de Texas <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littler.com\/files\/state_of_texas_v._dol.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">anul\u00f3<\/a> la regulaci\u00f3n del Departamento de Trabajo (DOL) que aument\u00f3 el umbral salarial para las exenciones de horas extras de cuello blanco a partir del 1 de julio de 2024.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fcce54c33c5a2ce47fef591f222a5a90\" style=\"color:#056892\">Cambios clave para los empresarios<\/h3>\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n del tribunal tiene dos repercusiones importantes:  <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El aumento previsto para el 1 de enero de 2025 del umbral salarial a 1.128 d\u00f3lares semanales (58.656 d\u00f3lares anuales) no entrar\u00e1 en vigor.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>El aumento del 1 de julio de 2024 a 844 d\u00f3lares semanales (43.888 d\u00f3lares anuales) ha sido invalidado  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>La sentencia tambi\u00e9n suprime la disposici\u00f3n de \u00abescalera\u00bb autom\u00e1tica que habr\u00eda aumentado el umbral cada tres a\u00f1os.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ba1f93ad982d6da836e71e16a2efab84\" style=\"color:#056892\">Qu\u00e9 significa esto para los empresarios<\/h3>\n\n<p>Si ya ha ajustado los salarios o las clasificaciones de los empleados para cumplir con el umbral de julio de 2024, es posible que tenga que evaluar cuidadosamente sus pr\u00f3ximos pasos.
