Solidifies position as industry leader with three international acquisitions and the creation of global, executive team

 
EXTON, Penn., April 28, 2020 | People 2.0, the leading provider of employer of record (EOR) and agent of record solutions (AOR) to talent acquisition organizations, proudly announces the completion of three international acquisitions and the establishment of a new, global executive team to lead the firm. These investments will expand the company’s delivery capabilities to 40 countries and further enhance its value proposition to clients around the world.

Recent acquisitions include: WePayPeople, founded in 2007 in Amsterdam, serves clients across the Netherlands. TCP Solutions, founded in 1994 with offices in London, Berlin and Antwerp, serves clients in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Entity Solutions Group, founded in 1999 and based in Melbourne, maintains operations in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to the increased overall scale, the first two acquisitions bolster the company’s existing European operations, building on the momentum gained from People 2.0’s merger with Capital GES in July 2019. The third establishes a strong base for the company in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new People 2.0 global leadership team includes:

Steve Schaus, President: Steve joined People 2.0 in 2018 as part of the acquisition of Toronto-based Contingent Workforce Solutions and previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President of Operations.

Todd King, Global CFO: Todd joined People 2.0 in February 2020 and has almost 30 years of international accounting, financial management and integration experience. Todd has over 12 years of experience in the human capital management industry and previously served as the CFO of North America for the Adecco Group.

John Williams, Global CRO: John joined People 2.0 in March 2020 and is a seasoned sales executive who most recently served as SVP of Global Sales at ManpowerGroup, setting the sales strategy and leading the global sales organization for one of the world’s largest providers of human capital management and contingent workforce solutions.

Matthew Levine, Global COO: Matthew joined People 2.0 in February 2020 and brings highly relevant international expertise to guide the company’s expanding global operations. Matthew has spent most of his career in the human capital industry in both entrepreneurial and larger enterprise environments and recently served as the COO for Workforce Logiq.

Kathleen McCarthy, Global Chief Legal Officer: Following an extensive career in corporate, international and employment law, Kathleen joined People 2.0 in 2019 after previously serving as Senior Vice President and Legal Counsel for both private and publicly held companies.

People 2.0 has closed six acquisitions in two years—four since announcing a partnership with CIP Capital in April 2019.
